Someone famous, I think it was Ben Franklin (the last true Enlightenment Man), said that common sense is really not that common. And never has that been more true than today. In a world where we try to spend our way out of debt, and wage endless wars to make peace, we all really need to take a closer look, or shift a perspective or two about what is going on around and to us.
